This past week, I had a blast reprising a blab I started about 10 months ago: how to generate creative marketing ideas using improv comedy. This is the 4th installment in the series with my improv and marketing friends, Gary Ware and Brian Carter. We’re all marketers and improvisers.
There is so much noise out there and a lot of bad content. So you have to experiment and think differently about content to see what works.
The latest video from May 23rd.

My new book, Stop Boring Me!, will be out later this summer.
Your Turn
How do you generate new ideas for marketing? I’d love to know. Leave me a comment below.
I did improv for a few years in a class and then I did stand-up at open mikes and a couple of shows. It definitely helped my get more free as a copywriter! I have to stay, I like stand-up because you control the show. You’re all alone up there! The hardest part of improv is reading the signals from your castmates.
Thanks for sharing this – I enjoyed it!
Absolutely. I do improv, sketch and stand-up and each has its strengths, for sure. I tend to love stand-up as well because I can say what I want to say!;-)
